However, oil doesn’t last forever. Conventional oil is particularly susceptible to the engine’s high temperatures and will begin to break down over time. Our technicians will drain the oil from your Honda’s engine during an oil change and remove the old oil filter. They’ll then replace it with genuine Honda conventional oil and an OEM oil filter to ensure continued quality.
If you’ve chosen to use conventional oil, you’ll need to have an oil change performed around every 3,000 miles. Traditional oil doesn’t last as long as synthetic, so it does require more frequent changes. If you’d like to upgrade to synthetic oil, each oil change will cost more—but you can also have oil changes performed every 10,000 miles instead of every 3,000. If you’d like to switch to synthetic oil, talk to us about it. Otherwise, just let us know that you want to continue using conventional oil.
